It's probably just a garageband file....

A song I wrote with Lee McDerment. Lee is so talented and wise. Called No Name Is Greater (??). Just a demo.

Am I allowed to say I love a song I helped write? Because I do.

It’s been a while since I’ve shared any vocal recordings w/ the world…feels a bit like nakedness.

Yesterday, I finished an arrangement of I’ll Be Home for Christmas for a Christmas music project I am working on with some friends.

Anyway, I demo’d the arrangement in Garage Band, so why not share it?

Stay tuned for the aforementioned Christmas EP…should be fun.

Let It Snow

It won’t snow, but here it is. Was working on an original song that isn’t being nice. So this instead for now. Enjoy if your ears will allow it! One day I will care more about the quality of these….errr…..

This is a song called Red Shoes.

I didn’t write it, my friend Levi did. I’m fairly sure that I’m singing a completely different melody in the chorus than he would. But I also don’t know the real melody. I hope he doesn’t hate me for putting this up here. Also, it’s auto-tuned because this is my blog and I can do what I want. And I’m slightly obsessed with auto-tuning….

Keith Urban is so legit and magical. It’s like taking your ears to Disney World with no lines! Seeing his process is very cool.

Won’t Back Down - Tom Petty

Seriously, one of my favorite songs. It’s another cover, but I figured I’d do this to make sure I’m posting some sort of music.

I’ll hopefully put up at least a song a week. If you’re against garageband demos that don’t sound awesome, this is not for you. I repeat, this is not for you.

Anyway, here’s the first. Tentatively calling it Love Is Hard and tentatively pretending it doesn’t need a ton of work.
